America-Italy Society of Philadelphia

Italian language courses and cultural programs are central to this nonprofit's work. It also presents lectures, films, concerts, and events focused on Italian heritage, arts, and exchange. Programs include Italian cinema screenings, book club gatherings, wine tastings, and concerts. Language studies and educational activities support a broader understanding of Italian culture and artistic heritage. The society fosters connections between the United States and Italy through community engagement and membership. It has also supported restoration and community projects, including efforts related to Italian art and a center for older residents in a village affected by an earthquake. Founded in 1956, the organization serves members in the greater Philadelphia region and is based in Philadelphia.
