Center for Transportation Safety

Class A CDL training includes classroom instruction, range work, and behind-the-wheel practice with real commercial equipment. Center for Transportation Safety provides commercial-driving education for adult learners, high school seniors, and organizations. Adult students can build foundational knowledge and practical skills for a professional driving career. Participating high school programs offer specialty transportation training at four locations. Organizations can request customized safety and driver-development solutions shaped around their workforce and operations. Training covers inspections, vehicle control, and commercial-driving theory, with preparation for CDL testing. Class length can vary based on class size, scheduling, and student progress. CTS also provides guidance on permit requirements, preparation, available classes, and enrollment.
