Health Alliance for the Uninsured

The Health Alliance for the Uninsured is a nonprofit community health organization. It coordinates access to no-cost healthcare for uninsured people through partnerships with clinics, physicians, hospitals, and other public and private organizations. Its Care Connection program arranges free diagnostic testing, specialist consultations, and surgical care for patients at network clinics. The organization also helps patients obtain medications for acute and chronic conditions and offers diabetes education classes. As a support hub for free and charitable clinics, HAU provides supplies, training, and information, and helps clinics navigate referrals to additional care. Its clinic navigation system connects uninsured patients with providers across the safety-net network. The alliance supports more than 80 free and charitable clinics in Oklahoma and serves patients across the state.
