About World Church of Messiah USA
In Newark, World Church of Messiah USA is a religious community centered on its belief that people can be born anew as children of God and become brothers and sisters through the name of Messiah. Its teachings draw on Jesus Christ and the founder Meishu-sama, whom the church says announced in Japan in 1954 that he was born anew as the Messiah. The church presents this belief as a spiritual path open to people across religious, national, and racial boundaries. It invites those seeking its understanding of salvation to walk the path of faith together. The website also features Johrei, music, songs, projects, and a sponsorship program, along with information about visiting and donations.
