Teach For America

TFA Ignite offers current college students a part-time, paid virtual tutoring role. Teach For America is a leadership development organization and national network for people working alongside young people to expand access to educational opportunity. Its two-year corps program places members in full-time teaching roles, while Ignite provides virtual tutoring. The organization also shares career events and learning resources, and supports participants with coaching, community, and training. Its network includes more than 72,000 leaders who began in the classroom and continue working toward the vision that all children can attain an excellent education. In the 2024-2025 school year, 4,100 corps members taught nearly 300,000 students, and 2,100 Ignite fellows taught 5,000 students. Teach For America also connects alumni with education and community work.
