Silver Music

Music classes and instrument instruction are the core offerings at this school. Ready, Set Play introduces young children to instruments and musical elements before they choose an instrument to study. Private and group instruction is available through an instrumental program focused on violin, viola, cello, flute, and piano, with performance opportunities throughout the year. The school also offers musicianship classes, chamber music, orchestra, summer camps, and outreach events. Its approach draws on Suzuki, Dalcroze, and Music Together training, and carries early class engagement into the structure of private lessons. Children and students of all ages attend programs at locations on the Upper West Side and in Morningside Heights, New York City.
