About New Milestone Preschool
Founded in 2007, New Milestone Preschool offers early learning for toddlers and preschool-age children. Its programs include Toddler, Preschool, and free UPK, along with Gifted & Talented test prep. The curriculum covers art, music, science, math, social studies, and social-emotional development, with activities adapted to each child's needs. Play is central to the approach. Children explore materials, communicate, socialize, and take part in creative activities such as painting, sculpting, dramatic play, movement, and music. The school describes its approach as influenced by Reggio Emilia, with the classroom environment supporting learning. Families are viewed as partners, and teachers document and study children's learning. New Milestone serves families in Astoria, Fresh Meadow, and Flushing.
