City Strings & Piano

Lessons take place in students' homes, with instruction in piano, violin, viola, cello, and guitar. City Strings & Piano offers music education in New York City for children and adults at different ages and skill levels, including beginners and children as young as 3. Teachers use Suzuki and traditional methods, with learning plans tailored to each student. The website describes Suzuki as a family-oriented approach that involves parents, and notes that some teachers are certified in the method. In-home lessons let teachers become familiar with a student's instrument and practice environment. The business serves multiple US cities, including New York City, and invites families to contact it about local teacher availability.
