13-County Support
Resources for older adults and caregivers across Middle Tennessee.
AgeWell's Directory of Services began in 1974 as a resource created by Fisk University graduate students in gerontology. Today, the organization supports older adults and caregivers across 13 Middle Tennessee counties through information, referrals, and programs addressing unmet needs. Its Helpline connects callers with information about services and community resources. AgeWell also offers caregiver support through personalized Eldercare Coach consultations and care navigation tools, along with financial empowerment and scam prevention resources for older adults. The free Directory is an impartial guide to support for healthcare, housing, transportation, nutrition, financial assistance, and more. It is available online and in print for older adults and family caregivers through public libraries in the service area. AgeWell also works with community and employer partners on guidance and solutions.
