Sunday Worship
Unprogrammed and semi-programmed worship meetings are held Sundays.
Sunday worship is offered in unprogrammed and semi-programmed formats. Minneapolis Friends Meeting is a Quaker congregation of the Religious Society of Friends in Minneapolis. Its worship includes reverent silence, with participants speaking when led, and the meeting has no designated minister. During the school year, the congregation holds two Sunday worship meetings, while summer alternates between the two formats. Hybrid worship allows people in the meetinghouse and on Zoom to participate together. Children ages six and under receive care throughout the morning, and First Day School is available for children ages five and up during semi-programmed worship. A 45-minute mid-morning program is also scheduled during the school year. The meeting offers social activities, meetings for business, and resources about Quaker beliefs and history.
