Sister Supply

A Memphis community service organization focused on menstrual equity. Sister Supply provides pads and tampons to menstruators in need, including people served by local shelters and schools. It began in 2015 after its founders considered how people experiencing homelessness manage their periods. The organization also works to destigmatize menstruation and educate people about reusable products, including menstrual cups and washable pads. Its efforts include distributing sustainable products and period kits, raising awareness about access to menstrual products, and working with lawmakers on product taxes and school budgets. Sister Supply has supported schools, shelters, and other organizations across the area, helping address gaps for students and others who may not be able to afford monthly necessities.
