Wide Horizons Inc. is a nonprofit community and social services organization in Manteca. It supports neurodiverse individuals with intellectual and developmental barriers to employment through its EVOLVE program. The program works toward sustainable employment by using augmentative and alternative communication methods, supportive employers, and collaboration among parents, community partners, and professionals. Wide Horizons explores participants' communication needs and those of employers, then develops communication supports that strengthen functional wellness at work and throughout the support network. The organization also provides enrollment access and opportunities for community involvement and giving. Its team includes parents and professionals focused on helping participants identify their passions and potential as contributors in the workforce and society. Wide Horizons is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Manteca, California.
