River Valley Training

Located a few miles south of Mankato in southern Minnesota, River Valley Training is a firearm training organization offering state-certified safety instruction and permit-to-carry courses. Instructor Rick Bruels has provided Minnesota firearm safety training since 1993 and NRA training since 2002. Courses address Minnesota permit-to-carry requirements and include instruction for firearm self-defense. The organization is approved by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and provides certification aligned with the Federal LEO Safety Act of 2004, also known as HR 218. NRA-certified instruction includes pistol, rifle, personal protection, and range safety topics. Courses are recognized by Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Florida, Arizona, and other states for permit-to-carry applications.
