Kentucky Humane Society St Matthews

Three-week puppy and teenage play groups help young dogs practice socialization. The Kentucky Humane Society is an animal welfare organization in Louisville that offers adoptions for dogs, cats, and horses. Dog and cat adoptions are available daily at Sam Swope Pet TLC, and cats can also be met at Purrfect Day Cafe; adoptable horses are at Willow Hope Farm. The organization provides Pet Resource Services with advice and resources for people trying to keep their pets at home. Group training classes are offered for puppies and adult dogs. Its CARE-a-van mobile veterinary clinic provides low-cost spay and neuter surgeries and pet wellness services in local communities. People can also support animals through donations or volunteering, and the Pawtique sells animal-themed merchandise to benefit KHS animals.
