Golden Gai concept
Inspired by Tokyo's alleys, hidden bars and lantern-lit streets.
Inspired by Tokyo's Golden Gai, WAKUDA brings the district's alleys, hidden bars, neon glow and paper lanterns into a Las Vegas restaurant concept. Chef Tetsuya Wakuda and 50 Eggs Hospitality Group created the restaurant around the meeting of old-world Japan and the future. Chef Tetsuya's team prepares cuisine that draws on time-honored traditions and new possibilities. The concept also incorporates seductive ambiance and provocative art. WAKUDA is part of 50 Eggs Hospitality Group, founded in 2001 by John Kunkel. Chef Wakuda grew up in Japan and opened Tetsuya in Sydney before establishing Waku Ghin in Singapore. His culinary career includes recognition from the Japanese government as Japan's Master of Cuisine.
