VFW Auxiliary-National Organization

Based in Kansas City, the VFW Auxiliary is a veterans' service organization established in 1914. It supports veterans, service members, military families, and communities through volunteer programs, charitable projects, and advocacy. Members volunteer in VA hospitals, assist with veterans and family support, work with youth, and award scholarships. The organization also advocates for veterans' legislation and provides information and assistance through its national programs. Membership is available to relatives of those who served overseas, with opportunities for leadership, community involvement, and access to member benefits. Local auxiliaries connect members with nearby activities, while national events, conferences, and conventions support coordination across the organization.
