2nd Mile Ministries

A Christian community development organization. 2nd Mile Ministries works in the Brentwood neighborhood north of downtown Jacksonville, supporting community-led efforts toward neighborhood transformation. Its leadership development work partners with local leaders to help build leadership from within the community. Through community engagement, the organization equips, empowers, and supports Brentwood residents. It also provides virtual programming for seniors three days per week, with an emphasis on helping community members feel valued and loved. The Home Campaign supports the purchase and renovation of a building; its Plank Project offers a way to contribute toward that campaign through an inscribed plank for a wooden mosaic. The 2nd Mile office and program address is at North Pearl Street Baptist Church, 4003 N. Pearl Street, Jacksonville, Florida.
