Jumpin For Jazz

Based in Indianapolis, Jumpin' for Jazz is a charitable 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supporting children affected by Friedreich's Ataxia. The organization raises awareness, provides resources and comfort for people affected by FA, and raises funds for research seeking a cure. Its community work includes educational outreach and fundraising events, including concerts and gatherings at the Jazz Kitchen. Donations support research organizations and efforts to improve quality care for those living with the condition. Jumpin' for Jazz also invites the public to participate through concert ticket purchases, community events, and direct contact. The organization was inspired by Jazmyne Harris, whose experience with Friedreich's Ataxia led her family to create this Indianapolis-based effort.
