About Church of Noise
Artist grants are one part of its work. This 501(c)(3) nonprofit provides quarterly financial support to adventurous musicians and offers limited-edition lathe-cutting services to the public, helping creators produce vinyl records. Its Indianapolis location houses a music and art gallery where visitors can see records made by hand, view visual art, and attend live performances. Exhibits have featured artists including Daniel Johnston, Bianca Casady, Jad Fair, and Thor Harris. Membership and donations fund album and art project costs as well as grants to artists. The organization also releases records, including its first release, Jordan Munson's *Heartless Fools*. Church of Noise is based in Indianapolis, Indiana, and has a global presence.
