Develops recommendations for O'ahu's Continuum of Care.
Partners In Care coordinates planning, recommendations, and advocacy for programs and services addressing homelessness. It is a coalition of nonprofit homeless service providers, government stakeholders, businesses, community advocates, public housing agencies, hospitals, universities, affordable housing developers, law enforcement, and people with lived experience of homelessness. The alliance supports O'ahu's Continuum of Care by identifying service needs and helping develop programs. It also works to preserve or expand effective existing programs. Its work includes planning and evaluation to make use of available resources, advocating for long-term policies, and collaborating with other organizations statewide. Partners In Care is based on O'ahu and participates in Hawai'i's Statewide Continuum of Care alongside the rural counties' Bridging the Gap.
