Exotic Avian Sanctuary of Tennessee

Located in Hermitage, near Nashville, Exotic Avian Sanctuary of Tennessee is a nonprofit parrot rescue and sanctuary. It works with Animal Services to rescue parrots facing abuse, neglect, or unwanted surrender, including providing medical help and a safe haven. Well-socialized parrots are matched with adoptive homes when possible. Parrots that cannot be adopted receive permanent sanctuary and lifetime care, supported through sponsorships and donations. The sanctuary provides natural environments for enrichment, flight, flock life, and access to outdoor aviaries. It also educates individuals and families about parrot care, planning for a bird's future, conservation, and keeping parrots with their guardians whenever possible. The organization opposes captive breeding for the pet trade and supports conservation efforts for threatened parrot species.
