Telehealth sessions
Counseling available remotely as well as in person.
Counseling is offered to teens, adults, and families through telehealth and in-person sessions. Areas of focus include anxiety, depression, trauma and abuse, women's issues, parenting concerns, life changes, and grief and loss. EMDR is also available. Initial sessions include an assessment and goal setting, with a person-centered approach that integrates cognitive-behavioral, reality, and family systems theories. Counseling addresses concerns such as stress, feeling overwhelmed, and navigating transitions or loss. Kathy Kirstner holds an MS/Ed.S in Community/Marriage & Family Counseling and has been a licensed counselor since 2003. Sessions are based in Greensboro, North Carolina.
