Grafton Land Trust

A land trust serving Grafton. It acquires and maintains open space, with more than 950 acres under protection. The organization informs landowners about conservation options and advocates for open space in public forums. It also works with town officials and others on conservation projects, and creates and maintains trails. Trail maps and information support activities such as hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, running, and horseback riding. The trust maintains kestrel nesting boxes and supports breeding and banding each spring. Its programs include education and grants, and it hosts an annual dinner. Community members can support its work through donations, membership, and branded merchandise.
