SteriCentral

Steri-Central is a vocational and technical school. It provides education, skills training, and certification exam preparation for careers in Central Services. The school offers a Central Processing Technician preparation program covering the cleaning, inspection, assembly, and sterilization of medical instruments, equipment, and supplies. Students receive hands-on experience and may participate in externships at hospitals and clinics, where they observe and practice standardized sterilization techniques. Its instructors have healthcare experience and certifications, while the program prepares students for work in hospital, outpatient clinic, and doctor's office central service departments. Steri-Central is approved by the Private Business and Vocational Schools Division of the Illinois Board of Higher Education and is not accredited by a US Department of Education recognized accrediting body.
