SitStayRead

SitStayRead provides early literacy enrichment for Chicago students in kindergarten through second grade. Its evidence-based, bilingual curriculum uses trained volunteers and Certified Reading Assistance Dogs to build reading skills and confidence. Programs include multi-week classroom residencies, one-time school visits, family literacy events, and Chicago Public Library programs. SitStayRead also offers family resources such as read-aloud videos, printable activities, and books to support reading at home.
