Puerto Rican Police Association

In Chicago, the Puerto Rican Police Association is a community and social services association that brings together law enforcement officers of Hispanic descent. It works to foster relationships between officers and the communities they serve while supporting professionalism, integrity, and public service. The association partners with local police departments on anti-violence initiatives and humanitarian efforts. Its community activities have included youth programs, school support, recruiting and test assessment events, special-needs community support, and hurricane relief fundraising. PRPA also offers the Felix "Tony" Olivieri Scholarship, supporting higher education through academics, community service, and character. Members can participate in the association's work, while sponsors support scholarship funding and receive recognition at events or throughout the year.
