Muddy Waters home
A Chicago home being transformed into a blues museum.
The Muddy Waters MOJO Museum is being developed in the Chicago home of blues legend Muddy Waters. The project will transform the house into a blues museum, sharing the story of Waters and the home where family members lived. It also connects blues music with Chicago's cultural and civil rights history, and has joined the African American Civil Rights Network. The museum has presented a Summer Front Porch music series featuring blues performers. Visitors and community members can submit original Muddy-inspired art for possible display, as well as artifacts that may be relevant to the museum. The project includes community input and support from preservation, development, and arts organizations.
