Montessori Magpie

Located in Chicago's West Town and Ukrainian Village neighborhoods, Montessori Magpie is an early childhood education and child care center for children from six weeks through six years. It provides Montessori-based infant and toddler care, plus a full-day preschool program. Learning is delivered through a play-based blend of Montessori and Reggio Emilia-inspired approaches, with open-ended, hands-on experiences and child-driven projects. Teachers prepare developmentally appropriate classroom environments and document children's work to support growth. The program includes organic food, yoga, movement, and music classes, while activities support language, cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development. Tours are available by appointment through email.
