About Kuumba Lynx
A Chicago urban arts youth development organization. Founded in 1996, Kuumba Lynx uses Hip Hop arts and performance to support youth and build community. Its Hip Hop Arts Program provides sequential learning through writing, freestyle ciphers, dance, beatbox, spoken word, music production, deejaying, graffiti art, photography, and video. Its Poetry Making Playground is an interactive poetry-making art exhibition featuring Chicago poets.
