About Idle Muse Theatre Company
Theater productions are the core offering of this performing arts company. Idle Muse stages plays, often selecting scripts with historical or fantastical settings that transport audiences from their time and place. The company does not currently produce musicals. Its productions are presented at The Edge Theater, in the Edge Off-Broadway space, and the website features a current play about a charming devil bargaining with villagers for their souls in exchange for their darkest wishes. Idle Muse also accepts unsolicited manuscripts for production consideration, as well as headshots and resumes for production roles. Founded in 2006, the company performs in Chicago's Edgewater neighborhood.
