Its history began with HotChocolate, a Chicago restaurant opened by Mindy Segal in 2005, and later developed into weekend bakery pop-ups after 2020. Mindy's Bakery officially opened in Wicker Park in summer 2022, continuing daily pastry work under Executive Pastry Chef Sarah Mineo. The business specializes in pastry and bakery products shaped by Mindy Segal's culinary background. It is located in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood.
