Chicago Russian House

A Russian-language supplemental education school and cultural community in downtown Chicago. Our House Chicago, formerly Chicago Russian House, offers Sunday classes for students ages 2 to 12 and older, including Russian, mathematics, creative thinking, early development, visual arts, music, and dance. The school also provides adult classes, family programs, and theater productions. Instruction is conducted in Russian, with activities designed for bilingual children and learners for whom Russian is a foreign language. Small groups and age- and level-based placement support differentiated instruction, while project work, role-playing, dialogues, interactive assignments, presentations, and quests form part of the educational approach. The nonprofit school was registered in Chicago in December 2017 and serves Russian-speaking children and adults from varied cultural backgrounds.
