Chicago Park District

Located throughout Chicago, the Chicago Park District manages public parks and recreation spaces. Find a park near you across the city. The district's offerings include trails such as the Lakefront Trail, where maintenance work is announced in advance, and parks that host seasonal and cultural events. Halloween events and Hispanic Heritage Month programming are among the activities held at parks across Chicago. Residents can also attend town halls and share input on proposed rules for e-bikes, e-scooters, and other micromobility in parks. The district provides a citywide park directory to help visitors locate individual sites, including neighborhood parks, beaches, greenways, and athletic fields.
