Chicago Park District

Based in Chicago, the Chicago Park District is a public parks and recreation agency serving neighborhoods throughout the city. It maintains and provides access to parks across Chicago, with a park finder for locating sites. The district also shares updates about trail work, including maintenance along the Lakefront Trail, and invites residents to town halls on proposed park rules for e-bikes and e-scooters. Citywide programming includes seasonal and cultural events, such as Halloween activities and Hispanic Heritage Month events held in parks. Visitors can explore individual park locations and learn about events and public input opportunities through the district's offerings.
