Center for Companies That Care

College access is central to Companies That Care's work. Based in Chicago, the nonprofit creates opportunities for under-resourced students to get to and through college and pursue careers, while supporting neurodiverse students in college and the workplace. Its programs work with students, families, employers, employees, schools, and individuals. The organization also helps employers and employees build socially responsible cultures and support community initiatives. Participants include students who complete high school, attend college, and prepare for careers, with graduates encouraged to serve as mentors and leaders in their companies and communities. Companies That Care reports that students in its programs complete college at three times the rate of their peers. Its Chicago office is at 2150 S. Canalport Ave., Suite 3A-13.
