Acceleration Academies

In Chicago, Acceleration Academies is an education program for students seeking a different path to finish high school. Students focus on one course at a time, work with mentors and teachers, and choose schedules designed around their lives. Face-to-face life and career coaching supports students throughout their studies. Each student works with the academy to create a completion plan, set expectations, and track progress. Learning takes place both on site and at home, with extended hours and work-from-home flexibility. Enrollment is tuition-free at Acceleration Academies locations. The program also provides virtual information sessions for people who want to learn about its flexible approach to high school completion.
