About Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County
Youth mentoring is the core service. The organization recruits volunteer adults, called Bigs, and enrolls young people, called Littles, for carefully arranged one-to-one matches. Bigs and Littles spend time together through shared activities, helping young people pursue their individual goals. Ongoing professional mentoring support accompanies each match. The organization also offers site programs and invites community members to events that support its youth and mentoring programs, including the Big Dreams Gala, Move For Kids' Sake, and a golf classic. Donations support matching and continued mentoring support. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County serves youth in Ventura County and is based in Camarillo, California.
