Cradles to Crayons

Cradles to Crayons provides essential clothing and everyday items to children who lack access to them. It redistributes new and gently used resources, including clothing, shoes, diapers, backpacks, pajamas, coats, and school supplies. The organization accepts donations at more than 70 Chicagoland drop-off locations and offers free home clothing donation pickups. Volunteers help process donations at The Giving Factory, while donors can contribute clothing, requested items through an Amazon Wish List, or financial support. Its Ready for Learning initiative supplies children with back-to-school clothing, shoes, backpacks, art supplies, and writing tools. Families, individuals, community groups, and companies can participate through volunteering, donations, and community events in Chicago.
