Environmental Science Center

The Environmental Science Center offers experiential environmental education programs for all ages across South King County. Programs take place at local beaches, streams, forested areas, and school gardens, with public events offered throughout the year. School programs provide science-based learning about local ecosystems and sustainability. Activities emphasize hands-on learning and environmental stewardship, and the organization also welcomes volunteers interested in stewardship work. Its programs are designed to support access to outdoor learning and strengthen community connections through collaboration with schools, local organizations, and volunteers. Specialties include environmental education, conservation, and community stewardship. Based in Burien, the center serves communities throughout South King County.
