Tam Tam

Tam Tam offers participatory music classes for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and their grownups. Classes combine singing, movement, instrument play, listening, and musical exploration in guided group sessions. Families can choose babies classes or mixed-age classes for children from birth through age five, including siblings at different stages. Children explore melody, rhythm, language, musical patterns, sound, and expression with drums, shakers, bells, and other instruments. Tam Tam also provides live, hands-on music programs for early childhood classrooms throughout New York City. Families can continue activities at home with songbooks, music recordings, and songs that include Spanish lyrics. The classes are designed for active participation by children and adults, rather than children watching from the sidelines.
