Sparks Women's-Health

Based in Brooklyn, Sparks Women's-Health is a community support organization serving mothers and families. It offers a confidential helpline, where trained operators gather information and connect callers with therapists for evaluation. Support includes one-on-one therapy by phone or in person, support groups, monthly teleconferences, and family in-home or outpatient care. The organization also provides nutritional counseling, customized meal planning, life coaching, peer support, and help connecting families with mental health care, financial aid, childcare, and other community resources. Meal delivery offers fresh food and groceries for eligible families. Mommy & Me classes combine infant-bonding instruction with group discussion, while free educational events and professional training address maternal and family health.
