About North Brooklyn Parks Alliance
North Brooklyn Parks Alliance provides neighborhood maintenance and community support services across North Brooklyn. Its mobile crew cleans public spaces, collects trash, waters plants, delivers event supplies, and assists with Open Streets and other community events. The organization maintains dog runs in McGolrick, Cooper, Sternberg, and McCarren parks by clearing waste, leveling ground cover, and checking for hazards. It also supports volunteer cleanups and repairs, Green Streets maintenance, snow removal, power washing, planter installation, catch basin clearing, horticultural work, and street tree care. The alliance collaborates with local advocates, city partners, elected officials, businesses, and volunteers on public-space projects and programming. It operates from Bushwick Inlet Park Building in Brooklyn, with a native plant nursery on Scott Avenue.
