Community Counseling & Mediation

Mental health and substance abuse services are central offerings, including individual, group, and family counseling, psychological assessments, psychiatric diagnosis, and psychopharmacology. Youth and education programs provide academic, social, and emotional support to help young people transition into adulthood. Preventive services support families affected by alcohol and substance abuse. Health and housing programs help residents address barriers to stable, healthy, independent lives, while case management and HIV and hepatitis prevention services are also available. Supportive housing facilities and youth enrichment programs are part of the organization's work. Community Counseling & Mediation serves underserved communities and at-risk populations in Brooklyn and Manhattan, using evidence-based, culturally competent practices across its services.
