About Bowen Liu Studio
In Brooklyn, Bowen Liu Studio is a furniture design and research studio creating artistic collections for contemporary living. Its work explores materials and craft through furniture, lighting, and objects. The Helle Glass Collection brings glass sculptures to furniture scale, drawing on research into glassmaking and materiality; it is made in New York City. Other collections include Helle, inspired by sailing in New York, and Feast, designed around group dining and hospitality. A Painter's Room pairs bedroom furniture with a desk in a concept for a painter's live-work space. The studio also presents projects, including Feast armchairs with custom leather seats for a restaurant dining room. Its collections have been shown at design fairs and include award-winning work.
