About Animal Care Centers of NYC
ACC hosts pop-up adoption events where people can meet animals seeking homes. Animal Care Centers of NYC is an animal shelter serving New York City, with adoption events and a searchable database of available pets. It also takes in animals and works to reunite lost and found pets with their families. Foster programs begin with virtual orientations, and volunteers can support shelter operations, including handling large dogs. ACC also coordinates emergency placement efforts with partner organizations for animals in its care. Its services connect prospective adopters, foster caregivers, volunteers, and community partners with animals needing homes and care.
