Heartshare Human Services

Community and social services support children, families, and people with developmental disabilities. Offerings include foster care and homefinding, preventive services, mental health care, health homes, and pediatric and adolescent health care. Housing options include children's community residences, supportive housing, apartments, and group homes. The organization also provides educational and employment support, community programming, day programming, and family support. Services for people with developmental disabilities include education, clinical care, arts and creativity, and employment pathways. Energy assistance is another program. Heartshare Human Services of New York serves the Brooklyn community and has a history spanning more than 150 years.
