Girls Inc. of Omaha

Girls Inc. of Omaha is a girls' development organization. Its programs are designed to help girls become healthy, educated, and independent. Girls take part in evidence-based, age-appropriate activities that combine hands-on and minds-on learning, with opportunities to explore new experiences. Caring adults, trained staff, community partners, and volunteer mentors provide guidance and support. The organization describes its environment as girls-only and physically and emotionally safe, with high expectations and mutual respect. Its comprehensive programming includes daily healthy meals and snacks, counseling services, technology access, and safe transportation. Girls Inc. of Omaha is part of a network operating in more than 350 cities across the United States and Canada. The organization is also raising funds for a new Emma Lozier Center in South Omaha.
