Emergency Assistance
Provides emergency help and one-on-one problem solving for newcomers.
Family reunification grants are among ERICA's essential supports. The Episcopal Refugee and Immigrant Center Alliance is a Baltimore outreach ministry founded in 2001 by Cathedral of the Incarnation parishioners, including refugees from the Liberian Civil War. With volunteers and community partners, ERICA helps refugees, asylum seekers, and other newcomers in Greater Baltimore rebuild their lives through one-on-one problem solving and emergency assistance. Its support includes small grants and interest-free loans for family reunification and immigration legal or government fees. ERICA also offers Pathways to College. Since its founding, the organization has worked with more than 700 humanitarian newcomers from 72 countries and provided over $125,000 in grants and loans.
