Toplot Collective
A shared vegetable garden and co-learning space.
Toplot Collective Garden is a vegetable garden and co-learning space where volunteers grow food collectively and share the harvest. Baltimore Free Farm also includes Ash Street Garden, established in 2010 and now run as a cooperative community garden with individual plots, and Heart + Soil Sanctuary, a food forest and medicinal herb sanctuary. The collective brings together farmers, activists, and learners to steward urban green space and practice resource-sharing. Ash Street Garden joined Baltimore Green Space's land trust in 2018. Food that Toplot volunteers do not use is donated to Red Emma's. The garden spaces are separate from Green Eggs in Hampden, a housing collective that shares founders and a member with Baltimore Free Farm.
