About Water To Thrive
A community service organization. Water to Thrive funds and supports clean water projects in rural communities in Ethiopia, Uganda, and Tanzania. It works with regional aid organizations to identify and implement water projects, and provides training to help communities sustain completed wells. The organization connects social investors, congregations, schools, individuals, and community groups with projects. Supporters can launch or contribute to well fundraising campaigns, give monthly, or make a legacy gift. Volunteer advocacy includes a well advocacy campaign and an ambassador program, with monthly discussions about the water crisis and materials for outreach. Ambassadors may also join yearly vision trips to rural East Africa. The organization shares project updates and offers a GPS locator for tracking completed wells.
